In many circumstances, Shopify processes customer personal data on our behalf as a service provider or processor. Shopify may also process certain information for its own purposes in accordance with its own legal obligations and privacy documentation.

Shopify operates internationally and may process data through affiliated companies and approved service providers located in different countries.

We require service providers processing personal data on our behalf to handle that information appropriately and only for authorised purposes.

12. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers operate internationally. Personal data may therefore be processed in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

Where personal data is transferred internationally, we and our service providers use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, these safeguards may include adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, Binding Corporate Rules or other recognised transfer mechanisms.

13. How Long We Keep Personal Data

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Retention periods depend on factors including:

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access or disclosure.

Email: info@shinobivault.com

Please provide enough information for us to understand your request. We may need to verify your identity before providing access to personal data or completing certain requests.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

17. Complaints

18. Children and Minors

Shinobi Vault products may be of interest to younger customers. Purchases must, however, be made by a person legally capable of entering into the relevant transaction or with the involvement or permission of a parent or legal guardian where required.

We do not knowingly seek to collect more personal data from children than is necessary, and we do not knowingly rely on a child's consent where parental or guardian consent is legally required.

If you believe that personal data relating to a child has been provided to us improperly, please contact us.

19. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology, legal obligations or data-processing practices change.

The latest version will be published on the Shinobi Vault website and the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy will be revised.

If a change materially affects how we process personal data, we will take additional steps to notify affected individuals where required by law.
